I had a mixed experience at Gran Hotel Azul. The location in the middle of town is a nice perk, but the room I stayed in was cramped and felt more like a backpacker's lodge than anything else. The service was lacking, and I had trouble with noise during the night. Overall, it wasn't a great stay.
